What Is Sominex?

Sominex is a fast-acting remedy that gets to work within 15-30 minutes. It is a tablet that can be taken before you go to bed, helping you to get a restful night's sleep.

 

Dosage & Directions:

Adults aged 16 and over should take one tablet at bedtime. Sominex tablets may be taken
up to one hour after going to bed when sleep is difficult to achieve.

Children under 16 should not take Sominex

Sominex should be taken on an occasional basis, for temporary, short term relief. If you are suffering from long-term sleeplessness, you should consult your doctor.

  • Sominex can cause drowsiness
  • Do not operate heavy machinery
  • Do not use for more than seven days without medical advice
  • Consumption of alcohol should be avoided
  • If you are pregnant consult your doctor before taking any sleeping aid

 

Ingredients:

Sominex is sold in tablet form and comes in packs of 8 or 16.

Each tablet contains:

  • 20mg of Promethazine Hydrochloride
  • 0.3g of Carbohydrate Content
  • Lactose
  • Maize starch
  • Croscamellose sodium
  • Magnesium stearate
